waverley : Waverley is the last sea-going paddle steamer. Launched on Clydeside in 1947, it was one of several Clyde paddle steamers. Based in Glasgow, it regularly makes trips around the British Isles. These photos were taken when it visited Milford Haven in June 07.

Pembroke Festival 08 : In past centuries maritime trade was important in Pembroke, the North and South Quays were bustling centres of commerce. Over the years trade died off, Pembroke River and Castle Pond silted up and a flood barrage was built across the river. Boats are now a rare site here but once a year a flotilla makes its way up the navigable channel, passes through the flood barrage and moors beneath the castle walls as part of the Pembroke Festival.
